1. Do you have an age restriction for entry?
We are 21 and over only, no exceptions, during our normal business hours. Our evening shows & brunches are created for adults 21 and over and may contain adult humor and content that may not be suitable for all audiences. However, during our Family Day Events (please see calendar) our show will be All Ages and G-rated. We also have a Teen Beats Show one Saturday a month following the Family Show. This show is geared toward ages 13 to 17. Please note that we can only accept the following (unexpired) forms of identification: state-issued driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport, green card and government-issued ID (eg. military).
2. When are you open?
We are open for business Monday through Wednesday from 7pm to 12am and Thursdays from 7pm to 1am. On Fridays and Saturdays, our hours are 7pm to 2am. Seating begins at 7pm Monday through Saturday. The show begins at 8pm on all the days we are open. We may on occasion be closed for private events. Please check our calendar prior to planning a visit to see availability. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm. We also offer special engagements monthly to include a Boozy Brunch, Family Day show, & Teen show.
3. Is there a cover charge?
Monday through Thursday the general admission cover charge is $5 per person for seats or standing room. On Fridays, the cover charge is $7 per person (standing room only) and on Saturdays $10 per person (standing room only).
4. How soon can I purchase seats if I want priority seating?
We recommend you purchase seats at least 3 weeks in advance of the date you would like to visit us, especially for Saturdays as they tend to sell out quickly.
5. Do you charge for seats?

6. How do I purchase my seat?
You can purchase seats online by clicking the “Buy Show Tickets” tab on our home page. A credit card is required and is charged in full for all seats at the time of booking. Please note that all sales are final.
7. If I don’t make a booking or if you’re sold out of seats, can I still come to Bobby McKey’s?
You don’t have to buy a seat to enjoy our show. Standing room is usually available in the bar areas.
8. What happens if I need to cancel my purchase?
All sales are final, however, you have the option to reschedule your booking to another show as long as it is within 3 months of your original visit date. Requests to reschedule must be received no later than 48 hours before the show.
9. I’ve been placed on a waitlist for a sold-out night. When will I know if I have seats?
We make every effort to contact our waitlisted clients if any seats become available. Please note that if you do not receive a phone call by 5pm on the day you’re requesting reservations that nothing has become available.
10. When should I arrive if I have a pre-booked seat?
Please plan to arrive by 7pm when doors open. The show begins at 8pm. Management reserves the right to resell any unclaimed seats after 8:00pm.
11. Do I lose my seats if I don’t arrive at the time I specified?
If your party has not checked in by 8pm at the latest, we reserve the right to resell your seats to walk-in guests.
12. What if I’m in line at 8pm, will I lose my seats?
We will take a headcount of every one in line at 8pm and give you a stamp.
13. I have a very large group and don’t want to pay the whole tab myself. Can we split the bill?
Yes, you can split the tab, but please alert your server before ordering.
14. Do you charge automatic gratuity?
Not unless you walk out on your tab, in which case an 18% gratuity is added to your bill.
15. Do you have a dress code?
Bobby McKey’s has a casual atmosphere, so you can wear jeans or shorts when it’s nice outside. We cannot, however, allow gang attire, including visible gang tattoos or any other symbols. You can wear a baseball cap but the visor must face forward. Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. No oversized t-shirts or baggy sweatpants, jeans or shorts.
16. Is there a minimum number of people required to buy seats?
17. I’d like to be seated with my friends. Can you make sure we are all together?
The only way to make sure you and your friends are seated together is to purchase seats with one transaction. However, you can each buy individual tickets and let us know you want to join friends by answering yes to the question "joining another reservation?" and writing your party's name in the box provided. We look at all requests for seating when we begin working on the floor plan.
18. We are staying at a hotel in the National Harbor. What discounts do we get?
From Monday through Friday, your room key can get you free cover/admission. On Friday this is valid for standing room only.
19. What other discounts are available?
We are proud to offer free cover charge to our armed forces and first responders Monday through Friday. If you are (or were) in the military, police, or first responders, present your ID at the door to get in for free (Friday is standing room only). Spouses qualify as well, with proof of ID! We will also give you 20% off your food and drink tab on Fridays!
20. I received some free admission passes. Can I use these towards the payment for my seats?
Free admission passes are for standing room only (with the exception of Monday through Thursday) in the bar areas and cannot be used to discount seat prices.
21. Inclement Weather Policy
We make every attempt to put on a show in spite of inclement weather, however, we want you to be safe. If you cannot attend a show due to dangerous weather, please call 301-602-2209 or send an email to email@example.com and we will be happy to reschedule on an alternate date. Refunds are considered on a case by case basis. If we do close our doors because of weather related issues, we will inform you immediately and refunds will be automatically processed.
